Whanau Protect

Whanau Protect service is home security and safety service for people affected by domestic violence. Along with an alarm system and pendant installed in the home this service also offers the opportunity to make home safety improvements in and around the home.

These changes include but are not limited to the change of locks, secure window stays, and security lights to improve the security of the home.

Whanau protect service is accessible to the public who rent privately as well as those who are under social housing. Requests for new referrals are to be sent to whanauprotect@refuge.org.nz
